The  Fashion Bug’s Outfit: See underneath photos for details.

The Fashion Bug’s Story: I was walking along the King’s Road the other day and saw that all the Christmas decorations were being taken down and I thought how sad it was that another Christmas is already over. Retailers start putting up their decorations as soon as Halloween is over and we build up to it for months, but as soon as it actually comes around it is gone in a flash. Because I was so busy before Christmas and I didn’t post a lot, I am dedicating my next few posts to my favourite time of year. December is always crazy with so many parties and events, so the weekend before Christmas I escaped to Coworth Park for the weekend. It is my favourite hotel in England, and they certainly know how to make you feel festive. The Saturday was a gorgeous sunny day that turned into one of those magical evenings where the sky looked like it was on fire. I spent the entire weekend doing pretty much nothing – sometimes you just need one of those breaks! Massages, long walks and plenty of good food made it a perfect weekend.

The Fashion Bug’s Tips: Just because you go on a relaxing break, doesn’t mean you need to dress down. I certainly didn’t for our Saturday night dinner – I found this beautiful silver lace top from the brand Maeve (sold in Anthropologie stores) which looked super cute with skinny trousers and high heels.
