Imagine my delight when one morning on my usual Net-a-Porter browse I realised that Mansur Gavriel bags were back in stock and they hadn’t yet sold out. I’ve been trying to get my hands on the large bucket bag in tan for quite some time so there was zero hesitation in my decision to press that little black button that brings me so much joy that reads “purchase now.” And the next day, the beautiful bag was finally mine. Which was perfect timing really because my wardrobe seems to be filling up with all things caramel, honey and golden at the moment – yes beige is my new grey. Come Autumn, I pack away all my prints and bright colours, and migrate to a much more neutral wardrobe. But my love for all things caramelised is a very recent development – albeit one that I am loving. Wearing beige seems to add a delicious warmth to any outfit and personally I love wearing it together with both black and white. I am now always on the lookout for key pieces in these neutral tones and I have put together some of my favourites for all of you below. xx
