Happy Monday! Hope you all had an amazing weekend. This is the first ever summer I have spent entirely in London but I have to say I am loving it. I suspect it might have a little something to do with the arrival of my beautiful Mila; I could be anywhere and be happy right now.
But the warm weather definitely makes such a difference: I love being able to wear little dresses and playsuits and spend a lot of the day outside. I live within walking distance of Hyde Park which is amazing as I can go for long strolls with Mila every single day. She has already frequented lots of my favourite restaurants in her 5 and 1/2 weeks (it helps that she sleeps so soundly all the time!) and we even have a favourite spot in the park that we stop at on a daily basis. Everyone tells me to write things down so I don’t forget this special time with her. I often think I would have loved to have known what my mother was like when I was a baby – we all change so much as people and so I started writing Mila an email a day with the aim that one day I can let her read them (if she wants to!) and she can learn all about me, our time together and my love for her.
I did a big shop in Zara last week and found lots of amazing pieces including this off the shoulder polka dot dress. It could almost be Dolce & Gabbana. Sometimes the high street really is the best. xx
