Seeing Off 2015 In Style…

Good morning my lovely followers!

First of all, apologies for the lack of posts in recent months! My husband and I decided to start trying for a baby after the summer in September and we were very lucky in that it pretty much happened immediately. But along with the wonderful news came a level of tiredness I never knew could exist so my posts have been few and far between. I have now reached my second trimester and my energy is coming back so I promise my blog will be back to normal in 2016!

Wow what a year 2015 has been for me. Two weddings (the reason for this was that we wanted to complete all of our legal paperwork in the UK so we decided to do a very small civil wedding in March at the Chelsea Old Town Hall), a mini moon, a honeymoon (which I am currently on and I can safely say the Maldives is every bit as beautiful as I thought it would be!) and now I am starting an entirely new chapter in my life with a baby girl due on July 2nd 2016! I was dying to share my news with all of you but I needed to of course pass the 12 week mark to make sure that everything was ok with our baby before spilling the beans!

Rest assured my blog will still focus mainly on fashion (I very much intend on wearing normal albeit “oversized” clothes rather than maternity wear although I have heard that maternity jeans are a must!) so I hope you will all enjoy taking this new journey with me!

I leave you with a few photos from the tropical paradise I currently call home and wish you all a wonderful New Years Eve wherever you are! I look forward to sharing many moments with you in 2016! xx

    • thank you Rachael! I use a few different cameras…most of the time i use the Olympus Pen E-PL7, but sometimes i also use my iPhone for photos if there is really good light. and also i have a Canon EOS 6d which i LOVE but it is quite heavy to carry around. hope that helps 🙂 x

  • I am just wondering how you knew you were having a baby girl as early as 11w6d (the scan pic you posted to Insta)?

    • Hi Sarah,
We did a test called The Harmony Test which checks for any chromosomal abnormalities and because they do a blood test for that you find out the sex of the baby already that early. x
