The Affordable Loungewear Edit

I’m wearing: Splendid sweatpants | Golden Goose trainers | ASOS coat (similar here) | H&M cashmere hoodie

Mila wears: Zara cashmere dress | Belle Enfant gilet | Easy Peasy shoes | Trotters Bow

Happy Friday! So I LOVE dressing up more than anything but saying that I spend a lot of my mornings and evenings in loungewear and so I am always on the lookout for sweatpants and cashmere. (Btw I will be doing a post next week about my daily routine with Mila as this was something a few of you were interested in.) My husband and I  love to go out for dinner and usually go a lot (often taking Mila with us too) but at the moment I’ve become a real homebody cherishing my evenings snuggled up at home (I do feel like a real granny though as I never used to be like this!)

We were actually supposed to go to the theatre tonight but we decided that all we want to do is spend the evening at home and cook together and basically just chill out so we have cancelled. Maybe I am already in the nesting phase! I am definitely getting more and more tired and I am getting that third trimester insomnia (don’t you love how the body does that just before you give birth when all you should be doing is getting like a dreamy 12 hours of sleep a night?!) Anyways I know quite a few of you are pregnant and although I don’t really wear maternity wear I think loungwear is something that you do want to wear when pregnant! So I’ve done a little edit especially because I think there is ALOT of really great affordable cashmere out there at the moment. I get most of my sweatpants from Revolve because I love their selection of brands especially Sundry (have included lots of their pieces in my edit below.) For cashmere I think that these days you really don’t have to go to high end brands and retailers – there are so many highstreet/mid-range brands doing cashmere and I have recently found lots I love at H&M but Zara also have some great pieces as do M&S, Me&Em, Iris&Ink, ASOS and even John Lewis (I have a few of the mens zip up hoodies as I like mine to be really oversized.) I have split it up into sweatpants (because there are quite a few) and then cashmere with sweaters. Hope you find it useful and wishing you all a lovely weekend xx

ps. I will be fully updating my shop page this weekend – taking out some categories and adding a winter shop with coats and boots!
