Hello from sunny Ibiza! Hope you are all well, as you may already know I am currently enjoying my time by the beach under the sun.Ibiza truly is my happy place and always feels special coming here because my husband and I got married here 6 years ago. We came for many years before children, got married here and now come every year with our children. Last summer Casimir was just 10 weeks in my tummy and now he gets to experience the magic of the island for the first time too. Anyone who really knows Ibiza knows how the island has a special energy and I so I am soaking it all in.
The weather is gorgeous over here of course so I thought I would use this as an opportunity to create a beachwear focused blog with MyTheresa. I used to build up a summer box of my favourite items but these days everything is last minute so I tend to do a big online shop right before I go on holiday just to add in some new pieces to my suitcase that I would look forward to wearing to make the trip even more exciting. Lots of the pieces I bought for this holiday are sparkly or vibrant in colour making them really fun to wear! There is a big selection on the Vacation Shop section on MyTheresa and I have picked out a few brands that I love.
The brand I am obsessed with right now is Oseree. They always have gorgeous pieces but I feel like this year the collection is especially strong. I instantly fell in love with the metallic pieces such as the feathered dress I wore the other night for dinner and the full on sequin swimsuit. They look amazing day or night and add a little sparkle into your wardrobe.
Juliet Dunn has some stunning embroidered sequin dresses in a simple nice cut, that would work perfectly at the beach. And for those who like prints, Emilio Pucci have some elegant printed swimsuits and dresses. All of their pieces look so luxurious and effortless especially the flowing silk dresses.
The other swimwear brand worth mentioning is Hunza G. As you know if you followed me for a while I lived in these swimsuits during all 4 of my pregnancies; they have the most amazing colours and now they have a few dresses too.
