Throughout my pregnancy I have made it my mission to avoid maternity clothing and instead find styles from brands I previously loved that work with my bump. But with only 1.5 weeks to go until my due date, I feel HUGE and I have to admit I am finding it increasingly hard to a) fit into and b) feel inspired to find cute outfits. Yes I have worn some lovely dresses that do still work with a 38 week bump (namely the pink Zara maxi over the weekend and the Self-Portrait gown in Monday’s post) but on cooler days all I want to do is slip into some comfortable leggings. Which is why I was delighted when Séraphine sent me one of their cool London Bump Kits.

Séraphine is considered by many (including a host of celebrities) to be the most fashionable maternity brand out there. Their “London” bump kit consists of four essential pieces every pregnant woman needs for their wardrobe: leggings, a black skirt, a white vest and a LBD. You can choose from 4 other bump kits if the London one doesn’t take your fancy; they have Paris, New York, Toronto and Milan ones too! Whilst I made the decision to opt for non-maternity clothing throughout my pregnancy, I have always said that every woman needs some maternity essentials in their wardrobe – maternity leggings for example are a must and Séraphine‘s pair are honestly the softest most flattering ones (maternity or non-maternity) that I have ever owned. All of the bump kit pieces are quite basic which is great because it means you can style them up however you want to make them feel more “you.”

I thought it would be fun to style three different looks on three separate days using the bump kit items together with some non-maternity pieces (but I kept the same shoes and bag for each) to show how versatile the looks can be.  For me personally the looks with the leggings and the skirt are my favourite – which ones do you like? I only wish I had discovered the leggings sooner (I will definitely continue to wear them post pregnancy!)

I’m wearing:

Look 1: Séraphine maternity leggings | Soft by Joie shirt | Illesteva Sunglasses | Robert Clergerie flatforms | Sophie Hulme bag

Look 2: Séraphine maternity skirt | T by Alexander Wang striped top | Illesteva Sunglasses | Robert Clergerie flatforms | Sophie Hulme bag

Look 3: Séraphine maternity dress | Paolita Cover-up | Illesteva Sunglasses | Robert Clergerie flatforms | Sophie Hulme bag
