Happy Monday! I wanted to share with you all a collaboration which I am SO excited about. I recently got the opportunity to pick some of my favourite pieces from luxury e-commerce website Style.com‘s exclusives collection and style them in my own way. I grew up reading every issue of Vogue. I was obsessed. I always knew that I wanted to work in fashion in some capacity and every month I would eagerly await for the new issue of Vogue to come out and I would read every. single. page. Many times over. Style.com is curated by the editors of Vogue and GQ and what I love about it is that it is basically a shoppable Vogue so I couldn’t have been more excited. They include both established as well as emerging brands and they have lots of exclusives which means that ultimately you are investing in something that not everyone else will be wearing which is amazing. And most of their pieces are real statement pieces (think extra long sleeves, brightly coloured knits and asymmetrical hems) so you can keep the looks really simple.
This is the first piece I chose – its the Vetements turtleneck sweater dress. I love a long maxi dress and the fact that it has a turtleneck is a bonus. Its cosy, super flattering and very easy to style with some simple accessories.
Next up was this amazing turquoise cardigan from No.21 which has a slight vintage feel to it. It is quite long which I love and its such an every day piece which can be dressed up or down. I wanted to create a bit more of a put together look so I paired it with a leather pencil skirt and heels but I added a white t-shirt to maintain that relaxed vibe of the cardigan.
And finally I chose these Vetements reworked jeans. You know I am totally obsessed with denim at the moment and these jeans are just the dream. I love the hem, the frayed edge and the casual straight leg cut so it was an easy choice. I was originally going to pair them with a silky white shirt loosely tucked in but as I was trying them on I pulled out another piece I had picked out which is this super flattering open back Vetements top and I decided last minute to pair them together because I loved the combination of the slightly masculine jeans with the ultra feminine top.
