The Old With The New

Zara jeans | Joseph top | Ganni coat | Gucci bag | Stella McCartney flatforms | Illesteva sunglasses

I cant believe it actually snowed today! My husband is on a flight back from China and this is the longest I think he has ever been away for without me (4 nights lol) so I am missing him terribly and hoping that his flight wont be delayed or diverted today. I am finally feeling much better today thanks to all of your helpful remedies (I tried almost everything!) and so I am pretty excited that its the weekend and I get to spend lots of time with my family! We have dinner with friends tonight and then no other plans. Being sick is never fun but when you are alone with your baby its even worse (luckily Mila seems to have the immune system of an ox and didn’t get my flu!)

Just a quick post today with my full look from a few days ago. Part of what I love about having a blog is putting together new outfits but it also means there are so many clothes that I don’t get to wear again and again and I feel like its such a waste. I have all these beautiful clothes sitting in my closet which I love so much that I refuse to sell them or give them away but then its awful that they are just sitting there unused. So this year I want to try an incorporate some of my old styles into my looks. I was thinking about all the amazing dresses I bought for my mini-moon and honeymoon and how little they get worn so I will be taking some of them on my next holiday. What I do wear over and over again though are my shoes, and my Stella McCartney flatforms are always an easy go-to option. I found these jeans from Zara the other day (I am really into stripes on denim – loving my Victoria Beckham pair) and the coat was my one final winter purchase. Its from Ganni, its oversized, very warm and I love the length. And the sweater is from Joseph. This winter I have found myself wearing sweaters with some kind of detail on them – tie up sleeves (remember my Topshop one?), fluted sleeves (just found an amazing one from M&S – you can find it on my boutique page) or sweater with a tie around the waist such as this Joseph one.

Wishing you all an amazing weekend whatever your plans may be xx
