In today’s world of endless at-the-click-of-your-finger fast-fashion options, it is important to remember to buy items that have staying power. I have definitely been a little over-enthusiastic in the past and bought inexpensive items without any thought but lets face it, wouldn’t we all rather invest in a pair of expensive boots or a wardrobe staple such as a white shirt? Don’t get me wrong, I salute the High-Street and often buy things from Zara and Topshop, but its all about being more selective. Denim shorts, Jeans, a LBD, a grey coat, a black polo neck – these are all items that will never go out of style and you can use them over and over again.
