Happy Wednesday! Its been another hectic week for me. But FINALLY the nursery is all coming together. I now have everything physically in my home apart from the cot and the blind which is being made and both should arrive before the end of the month. The walls were painted today (I went for a colour called Quarter Mushroom by Zoffany which is a lovely neutral tone that works well with my wallpaper which is much more of a statement) and the wallpaper is being put in on Monday. It took me FOREVER to decide on the wallpaper but I am so happy with my choice. We decided to do a statement wall rather than the entire room in the wallpaper because it is quite a bold wallpaper and I didn’t want it to be too overpowering in the room. Anyways I will of course keep you updated and do a FULL post once everything has been installed.

Today I wanted to focus on sequins. Because every winter I really go for this trend. Really, whats not to love. They brighten up my mood, my outfit and there are many ways you can add a bit of them to your outfit if you don’t want to go for full on embellishment. I have split everything up into categories below.

Accessories:

Embellished shoes are fabulous and make such a statement even if everything else you wear is super simple and this is a great way to add a hint of the trend to your look without going all out. Remember my leopard print MiuMiu’s I got last week? Well they come in a sequin version!! (shop them here – I have to stop myself from buying right now they are so fabulous!) Also OBSESSED with these darker versions of my Gucci glittered pumps from the summer. The highstreet have some amazing pieces too: loving these scrunchies and these slingback shoes. Shop all my favourites above.

High street clothing:

There are some amazing knits out there at the moment (like the one I wore today) as well as this one from Reiss which has all over sequins is such a stunning colour and this Topshop one I have that I insta storied last week. Also obsessed with this blazer from Anthropologie which you can easily layer on top of a slouchy tee and jeans. Shop all my favourites above.

Designer clothing:

If you fancy going all out for a Christmas party, a winter wedding or even a baby shower then I have found some amazing pieces for you. This sequin jumpsuit is so amazing (obviously not with a bump!) and I love this sweet empire line dress (which in contrast does go really well with a bump!) that I actually insta storied the other week. You can also go ALL OUT with a sweatshirt from Gucci such as this one which is great with some girlfriend jeans and winter slides. Shop all my favourites above.

That’s it from me today but I am doing a round up of maternity fashion and splitting it up by trimester next week which a few of you have asked for – hope you find it useful! xx
