Waven jeans | Zara top (old but similar here)| Iris&Ink cashmere cardigan (similar here in wool) | Valentino shoes | Chanel bag | Illesteva sunglasses | Tada&Toy necklace and earrings
I am pretty sure that distressed denim is a generational thing. I have been collecting ripped jeans for as long as I can remember (still looking for the perfect pair!) but have also been getting disapproving looks from my parents and grandparents whenever I wear a pair for as long as I can remember! Granted it is a bit of a strange trend to pay for a pair of jeans that have been ripped and torn and frayed and shredded, but I can’t help it; I just think they look cool. That is the one word that for me so wonderfully describes them. I am not saying that they have to be completely cut up into pieces (although I do have some of those too!) but a few tears here and there just add a bit “more” to an otherwise very average looking pair of jeans. And if you style them up with some pretty shoes and a nice blouse, then there is absolutely nothing untidy about them. If you haven’t yet got on board with this trend then give it a try!
