As much as I love throwing on a pair of boyfriend jeans and an oversized jumper, I have always found that I feel happiest and at my most confident when in a glamorous dress. My main memory of nights out as a teenager is the getting ready part – I was always more excited about what dress I was going to wear than about the actual night itself! So it is no surprise then that I find myself turning to designer Self-Portrait again and again at the moment. The delicately crafted dresses give me so much confidence because they sculpt my figure showing off all the best bits and make me feel very feminine! And every time I buy one and put it on, I feel that same teenage excitement all over again. An added bonus is that you don’t have to worry about them getting creased so they are great for holidays too. xx
