Hope everyone is doing well and had a great Christmas – I know its been a VERY different type of Christmas this year but the slow quiet days have been very appreciated after a busy year. First Christmas in 36 years that I haven’t spent it with my parents and it felt quiet even with our 3 little children – I think most of us love having a full house at Christmas and spending it with family so it did feel strange. But if 2020 has taught me anything its to appreciate the here and now and live in the moment – hopefully 2021 will be easier and brighter for all.
The new Free People December collections are AMAZING – they have so many beautiful knitwear pieces but also some fab sequins which you know I LOVE and which are perfect for more dressed up moments (which don’t happen often anymore especially with the tier 4 restrictions in London now. We will obviously be at home but I still plan on throwing on a sequin dress and bringing in the New Year in style.)
Free People is one of the first sites I check every week for their new arrivals because I just love the mix of products they have and the super easy-to-wear styles. I have to say during the first lockdown I wasn’t actually that fussed about being at home but during the November lockdown I really missed going to restaurants and I am grateful that we had even that short time of normality before Tier 4 started to go on a few date nights and get dressed up again! But now of course I am back to wearing sweatpants and comfy dresses most days – and Free People have so many amazing options for that.
Keeping it super simple today I have included my favourites from Free People below both for staying in and going out. A few pieces I just have to mention because they are so gorgeous – my favourite Hailee Set which you all loved last time I wore it now comes in the most amazing pink, these slippers are super cosy, this Soa Dress comes in 6 colours and perfect with or without a bump (and for beach holidays!), this sequin jacket is perfect for daytime and nighttime sparkle I love how it can be dressed up or down, this teddy coat is dreamy, this ribbed maxi dress is the actual dream pregnancy dress (I am wearing in the photos) as its so flattering but also so comfy and this romper came with me on holiday and is the cutest every day style.
