February Favourites With MyTheresa

Happy Thursday everyone 🙂

First of all thank you all for the birthday love yesterday – the amount of kind messages I got was just incredible I have the best community 🙂 I feel like this is just SUCH an exciting time in my life right now – I have just under 4 weeks left until my due date and cannot wait to meet this 4th little baby bug 🙂

I know most of us are in the midst of another proper lockdown so I wanted to share some great at home outfits – all of them really comfy. I have to be honest though – I miss dressing up!! I really really do. I love being comfortable but there is something so satisfying about putting together outfits but with nowhere to go I am in loungewear most days. I’m also 36 weeks pregnant now and actually do really appreciate being able to guilt free be in loungewear at this stage of pregnancy. However at least a few times a week I try to make an effort – its an instant mood booster. Whether its for a date night at home or just throwing on a knitted dress instead of sweatpants its nice to have some variety.

II think as strange as it is to be pregnant during a pandemic the silver lining is that I have a baby to look forward to and for the first time ever I feel like I can really cherish the last weeks. As a person I am always on the go and so having this time to slow down, not needing to be anywhere, is very much appreciated. However I can see why many find this lockdown the hardest – especially when at least in London its been such miserable weather outside (aside from the odd snowstorm which definitely lightens the mood!!)

Whatever your situation, I am sure we all have good days and not so good days. Some when you feel really motivated and others where it feels like groundhog day. So I have put together an edit with MyTheresa below which will hopefully add a little boost to your every day dressing (down.) Lots of comfortable pieces that feel good to wear but also some working from home staples such as knitted dresses and slip skirts so if you do have lots of zoom calls you can look pulled together but still be comfortable. As usual the MyTheresa buy and selection of brands is so so good – and I love that they always have some exclusive pieces. Below are my top picks. Hope you enjoy xx

Spring Coat

If there is ONE coat you buy this year, make it the Nanushka Hyde puffer. Those that have followed me for a while know how much I love this coat – I have had the black one for 3 years and love pulling it out my cupboard every September. Because I wear it SO much I decided it was finally time to go for the white one too.

Home Office

I know many are working from home (some are working as well as homeschooling!) and putting on something comfy yet a bit dressed up can really change your whole mood. I don’t have to do many zoom calls but when I do seeing myself in something a little bit fancy is so much nicer than just wearing a sweatshirt 24/7. I love cashmere especially loose fitting cashmere dresses they are perfection when pregnant and can easily be belted too! You instantly feel dressed up but with minimal effort. The Extreme Cashmere ones are lovely.

Cosy But Chic

But obviously I do spend most of my time in loungewear. The Frankie Shop sets are still my favourite and I adore the new chocolate brown one

Every Day Jewellery

And I have always found that the easiest way to give ANY outfit a boost is with a piece of jewellery. Chunky chains are the best way to elevate a look – I have the Paco Rabanne bracelet but also love the necklace version and if you are willing to spend a bit more the Saint Laurent chain necklace is divine. I also adore these Miu Miu earrings.
