Free People: March Favourites

What a beautiful few days of sunshine!! Hard to believe this weekend will be so cold again (possibly snow?!) but excited for the warmer weather ahead and the thought of some outdoor dining!

Even though restrictions are lifting, I am not ready to entirely leave behind my loungewear. To be honest I don’t feel that ready to leave my house! Im such a creature of habit and once I get used to something I am happy and have loved the slower pace of life. I did also just have a baby so I am very much in my newborn bubble and loving it.

I have been thinking a lot recently how my attitude towards clothing has changed in the past year – I am DEFINITELY focused more on comfort than I was before. I look forward to occasionally wearing heels for date nights etc but going forwards I will be wearing lots of comfy wardrobe staples. Denim. Blazers. Flats. Bodysuits. Loungewear.

And what better site for basics and comfy clothing than Free People – they just have so many great every day pieces – I have done a round up of all my favourite new season pieces belowThe Hailee set is one of my forever favourites I have it in 4 different colours I just love the texture and the slightly cropped leg. The new mint sage colour is divine.

Shoes: the thing I am MOST excited about wearing this new season is a pair of chunky sandals! There is something so satisfying about wearing open toe shoes and I think a good chunky sandal looks equally great with some leggings and an oversized knit as it does with a more feminine dress.

Denim: I always look forward to wearing a good pair of jeans post bump. But I love that Free People have lots of dungarees and boilersuits too. Its taken me longer with each baby to fit back into my regular jeans and dungarees are a lovely more forgiving way to wear denim.

Loungewear: Like I said, for me loungewear is here to stay. I think you can feel put together in a nice lounge set – for me its more about adding a little makeup and some nice accessories. Shop my favourites below xx
