Stepping Into Spring With MyTheresa

Ganni dress | Ganni shirt – here and the other version here

As Spring approaches and lock down lifts, life will slowly become once again the place we all knew or at least resemble more of what it used to be. This week schools re-open, and little by little we will ease into a more normal way of life. Maybe its the fact that I am literally about to have a baby, or maybe I am so accustomed to this new way of life that for me personally there is something bittersweet about it. Of course I am delighted the vaccines are working and that businesses will be allowed to open up. I know so many who have been affected in one way or another by the pandemic, but as someone who always tries to see a silver lining I will forever be grateful for the extra time I got to spend with my girls. I think the slower pace of life is something that many of us perhaps will try to hang onto – I was always SO busy before and now I don’t even really understand why.

Having said that I definitely look forward to the LITTLE things we always took for granted every day; eating out, seeing friends, hugging and socialising!! Having picnics in the park and having a coffee at an actual cafe. Oh and I cannot wait for a proper date night.

As we ease into a life out of our homes, I think our attitude towards clothing will once again change a little. I have to say I have LOVED wearing loungewear almost 24/7 and its something I will definitely incorporate more into my every day looks but I do also look forward to dressing up even if its only occasionally!

So I thought for today’s post with MyTheresa I would focus on outfits you can look forward to wearing once the world starts opening up again. Simple outfits that are comfortable but great every day looks that you can take some inspiration from as you transition from loungewear. I ADORE this Toteme dress – its so chic and I love pairing it with my trusty Bottega bag as well as this oversized Acne blazerMyTheresa have done an exclusive capsule with Toteme and all the pieces are amazing! The other outfit I adore is this Ganni leather dress and shirt combination – I was so looking forward to wearing this leather dress and so at one of my recent baby check up’s I decided to just go all out!  I have highlighted below my favourite pieces from both Toteme and Ganni as well as put together edit’s of some other essentials such as date night outfits and favourite Spring bags. I hope you enjoy xx

Ganni – just love so many of their pieces as always but the classic shirt is such a wardrobe staple and with everything!

Toteme – obsessed with this brand at the moment. The loungewear set is so dreamy if you are looking for something more casual.

Spring Bags – still loving the Bottega bags especially all the bright colours!

Date Night Outfits – I will SO be looking forward to getting dressed up again for a date night outside of our home. Bright coloured dresses and high heels all the way!!

Every Day Staples – loving Wardrobe NYC and definitely looking forward to a good pair of jeans once I can fit in them again.

Blazers – my favourites for polishing off a look are Blaze Milano and The Frankie Shop.
