Jem & Bea Lookbook Shoot

Happy Wednesday! Not sure if you remember but back in November Jem & Bea asked me to be the face of their new campaign. Im REALLY not a model nor do I have any intentions for Mila to be one (to be honest I still struggle with what to do when it comes to including her on my Instagram because I don’t want her face plastered all over the internet so I mostly stick to insta stories where I know that the images will be gone after 24 hours but this is a discussion for another day.) But I said yes a) because the girls behind the brand Dom & Rebecca are absolutely sweethearts and b) because I love their products (I have both the Lola bag in black which I used for my travels last summer and the Farah crossbody which I took with me on our recent holiday to Dubai.)  As far as actual baby bags go these are the most chic ones out there. I also use non baby bags (I am sure most of you have seen my Goyards) but Jem & Bea are more practical so whenever I travel I prefer to use one of theirs.

We had such a lovely day. The shoot took place at the Bourne & Hollingsworth building and what I really loved about it was the fact that it wasn’t mumsy at all. It was super glam and felt more like a magazine editorial. The whole team from the photographer to the makeup artist were so lovely and the best thing about it was the fact that Mila was with me all day. Everyone worked around her schedule and she was so well-behaved so we got all of the shots which featured Mila and I done in a couple of hours. It was actually amazing to be involved in such a creative process – I am used to posing around in pretty outfits but I learned so much from watching the photographer and seeing how he visualised things and made everything look so sleek.  I wish I had those skills! So here are a few of my favourite shots from the day and below you can shop my top Jem & Bea picks! They also featured me recently on their journal and you can read the full interview here. xx
