The Fashion Bug’s Outfit: Needle&Thread dress, Opening Ceremony shoes, J.Crew denim jacket and Chanel bag.
The Fashion Bug’s Story: For the past 6 months I have been collecting white dresses all in preparation for my wedding weekend. It’s become something of a ridiculous hobby. Everytime I am online shopping, or even just having a browse, I have to have a look to see what’s new and white. As a result I have ended up with a wardrobe full of white dresses, and with the wedding just 5 and a bit weeks away I decided it was about time to start using some of them otherwise I will never get through them by the end of summer! This particular one is from British brand Needle&Thread (which is actually known more for its heavily embellished pieces) and its simple shape makes for a perfect daytime LWD (little white dress.) When we were taking photos of my outfit, I had one of those classic Marilyn Monroe moments when the wind caught onto my the bottom of my dress and voila…I ended up with one of my favourite photos ever taken! Part of the fun of having a blog is taking the photographs and ending up with something so special like that.
An advantage of having gotten to know all the little white dresses of the internet is that I can share it with all of you. You don’t have to be getting married to make use of what I have found – a little white dress is a summer staple and is the easiest thing to throw on. Below are my top ten picks – click on the links to buy! Enjoy. FB xx
