Atterley trousers/culottes | Iris&Ink sweater | Chanel shoes | Saint Laurent bag.

OK so I might be a serious latecomer when it comes to culottes but I bought my first pair from the cool online shopping destination Atterley’s sleek own brand a few weeks ago and I am definitely sold. Truth be told they are actually called the “Black Pleat Front Trouser” so technically they are not a real culotte but they are cropped and for me that’s enough. Besides, I like to take baby steps when I am venturing out of my comfort zone . Atterley focus heavily on tailoring and the result is a collection of pieces that fit in all the right places.

As much as I love cosy knits and oversized coats, winter dressing can be tricky. I always feel so covered up (skirts with tights or jeans with boots) but culottes provide a very feminine alternative that show just the right amount of ankle whilst still keeping you warm enough on those chilly days. Often culottes are quite high-waisted so its a good idea to wear a fitted or cropped top to emphasize this but at the moment I find myself going oversized again and again so I paired mine with this chunky and ever so comfy poloneck from my go-to brand Iris&Ink. See below for my top picks and click on the links to buy! Enjoy your weekend – I’m off to the countryside for some much needed r&r xx
