The Fashion Bug’s Outfit: Self-Portrait dress, Edie Parker personalised clutch, Saint Laurent shoes.
The Fashion Bug’s Story: Good morning everyone! Forgive me for being a bit MIA lately but I just got back from a 9 day stint in Ibiza and sometimes everyone needs a little bit of time to switch off. However whilst on holiday I thought a lot about my blog, about how much I love sharing bits of my life with you all, and about how I can continue to grow my blog. So I will be making small changes over the coming months to hopefully help make it even better.
Coming soon to the blog will be my summer packing tips as well as a post about my latest trip to the island. But first…before leaving for Ibiza, I had a lovely dinner at Rivea at The Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge which btw I can thoroughly recommend. Although the food is delicious, I would almost rather go there for drinks in the future as it has a very chic atmosphere perfect for an aperitif. As you know I will take any excuse to get dressed up and I had just purchased a dress the week before that I knew would be perfect for an evening out. If there is one label I (along with most of the world it seems) have gone absolutely crazy for this year, it is Self-Portrait.
Launched at the end of 2013 by Central Saint Martins graduate Han Chong (formerly creative director at Three Floor) this label has gone from strength to strength each season and I still have a hard time believing that it is so reasonably priced. Scrap that. I am literally shocked that it is so reasonably priced. The pieces look as though they should have an extra zero or two on the price tag. I wore a few of their dresses on my mini moon and I can’t wait to buy more – they are feminine, detailed and absolutely gorgeous.
The Fashion Bug’s Tips: If you don’t own one, buy one! Literally the perfect cocktail dress.
