Morning all! I am slowly coming to the end of my second trimester and so I thought it was a good time to share a few bits about my journey so far with you. The last 3 months have been amazing! My morning sickness stopped as soon as I hit week 12, my energy came back and I feel healthier than ever before.

There are certain things I absolutely love about pregnancy: the fact that there is literally a little miracle growing inside of me. And every week my stomach grows to make more room for her to grow! The moments when I feel her kick (which is all the time now and I can even see the movements on my stomach). My favourite time of the day is in the morning when I feel her wake up and in the evening when she seems to be most active. The fact that I am for once in my life warm – I am used to always being freezing and having to wear layers but my body temperature has risen significantly and this means I can happily walk around without a coat now that the weather has warmed up a bit. The fact that I feel so healthy – this is literally the best detox ever! I have always eaten well and exercised a lot. But I smoked socially before getting pregnant and I definitely enjoyed my wine so a 9 month detox is pure heaven for my body. The fact that I have an even deeper connection with my husband – we created this amazing miracle together. And of course what I love the most is the excitement and anticipation I feel when I think about meeting our girl – I am counting the days until I see her face.

But I would be lying if I said pregnancy is always easy and there are definitely things that I miss – I will be eating yellow tail sashimi every single day for the forseeable future once I have given birth! But dressing the bump is still really fun and I hope it continues to be right up until I pop. So today’s look: leather and preggo? Why not! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend xx
