Happy Friday everyone! I am writing my post from Mila’s room which is my new favourite place to hang out. When she sleeps I get on with my work and I like the thought of her knowing that even when she sleeps I am not too far away. Tomorrow she will be one month old and although every one tells me that it time passes so quickly, I can’t quite believe how fast the past couple of weeks have gone. I really try to enjoy each and every moment because I know that I will blink and she will already be a grown up.
Being a mother is truly a privilege and I count myself very lucky every single day. It fulfils me in a way I didn’t know was possible, it has grounded me and made me appreciate all the small things in life much more. All the things I once worried about giving up when I had a child just really don’t matter anymore.
I still definitely love clothes though – that’s something that won’t change any time soon and I think my husband already worries that his daughter might grow up like her mum! I mentioned on Instagram how much I love Storets – I keep ordering tops from the site because they are so well priced and there is nothing else quite like it out there. This one is so perfect for summer and can just as easily be paired with some denim cut off’s or a skirt but I styled it with these frilled hem trousers I found from Zara (another brand I can’t get enough of at the moment!)
